Background:
An SRHR activist deeply committed to advancing SRHR across diverse communities, through my involvement in several national and regional organizations. I’ve worked as a Magazine Editor for over 5 years at the GirlDetermined/Colorful Girls organization. After resigning to gain more experience in women’s empowerment, I worked as a part-time intern at the Purple Feminists Group for 4 months. After that, I have been working as a Project Leader and Facilitator at the Associate of Karenni Policy Support (AKPS) since February 2022, as a Project Assistant at the Sone Yay Foundation since November 2023, and as a National Coordinator at the Asia Network to End FGM/C since August 2024. Several organizations I’ve worked with focus on empowering youth, adolescents, and women in rural or conflict-affected areas. In 2023, we received a grant and budget from local donors to implement the SRHR, Conflict, and Media Literacy courses for adolescents and youth in conflicted-affected areas in Southern Myanmar.
