Pushing back to keep the civic space open for women’s rights
Whether you are an individual or a Women’s Rights Organisation (WRO), WOSSO will aim to amplify your voice and provide access to participate and engage with policy makers.
Advocacy

WOSSO champions the voices of women and Women’s Rights Organisations from the Global South, ensuring they are heard in the spaces where policies and decisions are made.
We create and safeguard opportunities for engagement at the highest levels, including the UN Commission on the Status of Women, SADC Heads of State Summits, COP, and the G20, so that lived experiences from grassroots communities directly shape policies, laws, and programmes. Through our support with access, travel, and capacity building, WOSSO makes sure women leaders are not only present but also influential in driving change.
Learning Hub
The WOSSO Learning Hub is a space to access and revisit the collective knowledge generated through our programmes and advocacy spaces. Here, you will find:
- Presentations from past Town Halls,
- Speaker bios to spotlight the expertise shaping our conversations, and
- Announcements on upcoming events and opportunities.
The Hub makes it easy to stay connected with WOSSO’s ongoing work, whether you attended the events live or are catching up afterwards
