Background:
Arya Kharel is a Program Officer for the Nepali Emerging Leaders Program, she designed educational materials and curriculum in collaboration with mentors for elected leaders aged 25-40 across Nepal, organized by Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice and Leadership Academy. She has focused on building essential skills like communication, public speaking, and leadership, particularly for young women from marginalized backgrounds, including those affected by abuse, violence, and poverty, through training. She produces ‘Youth TV Show’, and hosts Inspiring Women, Global Perspectives and Our Planet in Perspectives on NTV-Plus. She is a contributor for Spotlight magazine on gender, leadership and climate.
