Camari Serau is a seasoned poet and writer with over a decade of advocacy in human rights. Specializing in feminist, mental health, and LGBTQIA+ issues, Camari has worked with NGOs and CSOs in Fiji, primarily focusing on human rights advocacy and creative expression. Their work supports the rights of marginalized communities and champions the self-determination movements of West Papua, Kanaky, Bougainville and Pacific Island States under colonial occupation.
