Background:
Amira is a queer girl who tries to live a feminist life through her full-time work as an assistant coordinator of Education Division on the National Commission on Violence Against Women (Komnas Perempuan) and her voluntary work as a treasurer and growth manager for Lawyer’s Collective for Gender Justice (Kolektif Advokat untuk Keadilan Gender). Her experience both in public sector and civil society spaces provides a well-rounded expertise in approaching advocacy work by both engaging bureaucrats and grassroots actors. Amira is keen in expanding her interests on case handling mechanism, capacity building, participatory policymaking, holistic security, among others.
