Background:
I am a assistant coordinator at Yangon, Myanmar based-local NGO promoting decent work policies and labour rights for women informal workers. I hold a Bachelor Degree in International Relations from Dagon University, Myanmar and am currently a MA student in Public Policy at Chiang Mai University with fully funded scholarship funded by the International Development Research Center (IDRC).
As a gender equality and women human rights advocate, I have over five years experience working at community level, engaging with women from conflict-affected areas, IDP camps and rural areas. As current enrolled public policy student, I intend to develop and structure inclusive, balanced policy for systemic and protective future of women, human and ourselves.
