Background:
Nidhi is a development economist specializing in gender and climate issues. Her work lies at the intersection of climate and gender, with experience in economic development and politics. She employs an interdisciplinary approach to address pressing development challenges, develop impactful solutions, and advocate for systemic changes. Nidhi served as a jury member for the Prix Liberté 2023 and received the WNCB award for Untold Stories in 2021. She has authored papers on gender, migration, climate loss and damage, published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at conferences. Currently, she is an Assistant Manager of Research at the EquiLead initiative of Climate Asia, where she focuses on advancing women’s leadership.
