Background:
With a deep commitment to women’s rights advocacy, I have dedicated my career to advancing gender equality through cross-movement efforts and addressing the intersections of women’s rights with issues such as enforced disappearances, lack of education, and climate change. At the Asian Federation Against Involuntary Disappearances (AFAD), I manage key projects like the Women’s World Day of Prayer (WWDP), implemented across South Asia and Southeast Asia. My expertise spans campaign planning, stakeholder engagement, project management, and advocacy, with a focus on empowering women from victim families. I am passionate about creating meaningful impact through strategic advocacy and regional collaboration.
