As a young African woman with a disability, I am passionate about challenging the stereotypes, systemic barriers, cultural myths and miss-conceptions that constantly widen the gaps, inequalities, discrimination, marginalization and the exclusion of persons with disabilities in the society. Equity, Inclusivity, Gender equality and social justices are my core values and the guiding principles of my advocacy and passion. My advocacy for inclusion is built on an intersectional lens that recognizes as a tool for development and innovation. Over the years, I have used my personal experiences of discrimination and marginalization to shape my community and address the existing inequalities that women with disabilities in Nigeria face.
