Women are a key anchor to our society and if we intend to prosper and foster a better future then we must let women fly and play their roles in the society hence the advocacy plan “ Breaking the silence: Empowering women and girls”. Women are caged by the environment, by societal myths, by their “gender” and by their economic abilities. What if we change this perspective and let women know that they are not only limited to be “women” but also leaders and solution providers within their communities?

Background:
I have had the privilege of working as a project lead and manager in different youth and community empowerment projects as well as environmental projects. Currently acting as youth parliamentarian, the vice president of the Cameroon National Youth Council Bureau and a regional coordinator at Kectil. I am passionate about women and youth empowerment as well as sustainable development.

Areas of expertise:
Involved in Climate action, sustainable development and climate action as well as women and youth empowerment.
