Background:
Kunjani Pariyar Pyasi is a Human Rights Lawyer and the Province Coordinator of the Advocacy Forum, Nepal. She is a board member of the Association for Dalit Women Advancement of Nepal (ADWAN), where she champions the cause of Nepal’s Dalits and marginalized communities through advocacy, empowerment, livelihoods and education programs. To contribute to upholding human rights and social justice, she co-founded Nyaya Kunja Legal Associates, through which she has been providing legal aid to marginalized clients since 2018. Her advocacy journey began at age 12 when she started understanding and advocating for child rights through child clubs. She has held various leadership roles in organizations focusing on good governance, social inclusion, youth empowerment, and policy-making.
Kunjani is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Political Science and is highly passionate about advocacy for social justice, Dalit rights, gender equality, and social inclusion.
